Travelling Tips
Travelling is fun! But with this form of fun comes some set
of responsibilities to take along: Packing, transportation and all other sorts
of itineraries. Here are few things to keep in mind to make the travelling
experience hassle-free.
· Clothes
Packing clothes is the basic thing we all do before
traveling. For some, it’s an exciting thing to do while it is tedious for
others! Here are few packing tips for both the group.
1.
Avoid over-packing: You know that you didn’t wear
all the clothes you packed while travelling the last time.
2.
Instead of
folding your clothes, try ROLLING it. It saves a lot of space in your bag. And
also it makes your dresses wrinkle-free
3. Backpack can turn out to be easier while travelling rather than dragging a rectangular- squared-suitcase. You can disagree but think of it once!
4.
It is better if you carry a handbag to put in
the essentials.
5.
If you are travelling by air, you can put on the
bulky dress (like jeans and heavy jackets) to make spaces for other clothing in
the baggage.
- Documents
Carry all the necessary documents needed at several points
of the trip. It is preferable that you place these papers in the handbag so
that you have easy access to them. These documents are but not limited to:
1.
Tickets
2.
Passports
3.
Driving License
3.
- Electronics
The world is digital! And this is not new news. We can’t
imagine travelling without making use of our digital gadgets! So, it’s better
to be uploaded with the necessary electronics
1.
A mobile phone and its charger (a sim-card of
destination if it’s possible)
2.
A power bank (if you are not confident about the
battery life of your mobile)
3.
A digital camera and its charger
4.
Memory card with sufficient storage (you never
know how many photos you are going to click!)
5.
A Multi-plug (so that you don’t have to quarrel
for an electric socket)
- Money
Be sure about how you are going to access the money in your
home bank when you are in the destination country. It is advised to carry some
amount with you for emergency cases. Do have a talk with your bank about this.
- Medicines
Its midnight and you suddenly get a headache. Or you cut
yourself in the middle of the journey. The transportation unit should have a
first aid kit but most of them don’t. So, be self-equipped. Carry medicines for
headaches, minor cuts, cough and cold. Do I need to mention that you should double
check your daily medicines?
