H.H Sri Sri Ravishankar visit in Nepal

His Holiness Sri Sri Ravishankar, the founder of The Art of Living, was on a 3 day visit to Nepal. He had come back to Nepal after a gap of 4 long years.

Hundreds of volunteer have put their efforts in the making of the Art of Living Yoga Park in Sankhamul. All of us were waiting for his arrival. He was supposed to arrive Kathmandu on March 6. The day started with a group sadhana of energetic youths in the Yoga Park..He arrived at 12 pm in Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA) on March 6. But at that moment I was in my office, giving a presentation on Classroom Management. After I rushed to Hotel de Annapurna for he was having a session there. Thanks to Sumeet for lending his bike for the day or else I would have missed the session.

“Intuition, Innovation and Belongingness are the three factors needed for a business to be successful”, said Sri Sri in session ‘Management Mantra’ in Hotel de Annapurna. Top industrialists and business leaders were benefitted from the talk. Next, Sri Sri met the Prime Minister of the nation, Hon. Pushpa Kamal Dahal. They discussed about the situation of the nation. After that,, Sri Sri went to Soaltee Hotel and greeted H.H. the Gyalwang Drukpa on his birthday. He also met the National Cricket team who had done the Happiness program of the Art of Living. Later, he had a meeting with the Art of living teachers.

Next day, he went to Pashupatinath Temple and reached the newly constructed Art of Livng Centre and Yoga Park in Sankhamul. The building and construction was lead by Mrs. Rita Baidya and her team. Thousands of devotees had gathered to meet H.H. Sri Sri Ravishankar. Sri Sri inaugurated the Art of Living Centre along with Sri Sri University information center and Sri Sri products. Sri Sri University had its first information centre in Sankhamul outside India.

Sri Sri flew to Chitwan and the next morning he attended the inauguration of Saswatdham. CG group has built the Saswatdham which comprised Ekambareswar Temple, Gurukul, a sattvic restaurant and . The idea of Saswatdham was conceived more than 15 years ago. The inauguration was done in presence of the President Smt. Bidya Sevi Bhandari, ex-king Gyanendra Shah and other dignitaries. Later Sri Sri addressed the Interfaith Conference where various other religious and spiritual leaders joined him.

H.H. Sri Sri Ravishankar thanked Binod Chaudhary and his team for the making of Saswatdham. Sri Sri added that place like Saswatdham would make people wonder about what Saswat is and what Naswar is and that people would come to Saswatdham and when they leave, they would be strong. Sri Sri asked all Nepalese to be one and not to have discrimination among people of Terai, Hills and the Mountains. He ended the event with a guided meditation and took all into state of bliss.Later that night Sri Sri met the volunteers of the event and praised them for their effort in making the program successful.

On March 9, Sri Sri flew back to Kathmandu and headed to Ukraine. Sri Sri has inspired people to rise above self and be of service to others. Sri Sri dreams of a stress-free mind, violence-free society, inhibition-free mind and trauma-free memory.
